Tilt Shift In Software when you take a shot and you're fairly close to a structure and below what you want you end up with a keystoned image. This means that the image is distorted. In the latest update Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC has introduced a new way to fix the images. Sometime last year they brought in a tool that did a fair job of guessing what you wanted to do to straighten an image but sometimes it didn't do a great job of guessing what was straight. In this new version you select "Guided" under the "Transform" menu and you can draw lines for the verticals. It's pretty cool and works quite nicely. From left to right in these images you see the original sooc, the guides being put on then the final crop (and some other monkeying).
