Off Camera Flash Adds Depth
You'd think this was taken on a dull day and a lucky shaft of sun illumintated the plants "just right" yeah? Well, no, this is an off camera flash illuminating from below near ground level. I exposed for the flash which overwhelmed the light from the sky making it seem dull and bringing out the colours and textures of the tulip and foliage.
